From gripping crime fiction and thought-provoking literary discussions to science fiction adventures and exciting author talks, there’s something for every book lover to enjoy.

Game Night | Wednesday 12th August | 18:00–20:00
Join the team for a Board Game Cafe night and choose from an exciting range of our bestselling games!
Drawing hour with illustrator Gizem Gözde Uçar | Sunday 16th August | 12:00 – 13:00
Joining the team in store is Gizem, the illustrator of The Courage Club series, a collection that aims to equip children with the skills needed to make friends with their feelings and embrace new challenges. She will be leading a group through drawing activities for children aged 4-7 years old. A fantastic free weekend activity!
The event will run for an hour and slots are limited to 20 children. Please email putney@waterstones.com to guarentee your place.

Putney Science Fiction & Fantasy Book Club | Wednesday 26th August | 18:00 to 19:00
The store’s monthly SFF book club is a friendly space where you can talk books and explore the vastness of space & imaginative new worlds. We meet every last Wednesday of the month from 6pm to 7pm at our very own Cafe W. In August we will be reading Kalpa Imperial: The Greatest Empire That Never Was by Angélica Gorodischer.
