BobCat Gallery is returning to Putney Exchange this summer, opening a new pop-up store.
Opening on Thursday 1st August, BobCat Gallery is focused on affordable, original art. The gallery will showcase a changing selection of artists each month, including artists from across the local area.
Following a successful pop-up shop at Putney Exchange in 2022, BobCat Gallery is now delighted to be back with a greater range of original and handmade limited edition artwork, with the gallery featuring in a larger space in the shopping centre.
BobCat Gallery Founder, artist and curator Catherine Sweet, says: “I created BobCat Gallery to showcase original and affordable artwork. I pride myself on a no-nonsense approach to art; my job is to help people find art they connect with, that makes them happy, and that they want to live with.
“I wholeheartedly believe that everyone should have the opportunity to own beautiful, original art, whatever their budget – and I work hard to keep my commission low so that artists are paid fairly for their work and can better achieve their dreams.
“It’s my pleasure to help my customers find art that suits their budget, space and style, and I very much look forward to meeting new clients soon.”
The new BobCat Gallery store will include a fantastic variety of artwork for sale, and there will be an exciting programme of events including a monthly ‘Meet the Artists’ evening. As well as regular BobCat Gallery artists, customers will be able to discover new talent from the local area as well as international artists, with a new collection every month.
BobCat Gallery is also seeking local artists to showcase their work in the gallery.
