The Centre

Built in 1990, The Putney Exchange Shopping Centre is a premium shopping destination located in the centre of Putney, South West London and boasts an eclectic mix of small independent retailers complementing a great selection of well known High Street brands. The centre recently underwent a multi million pound redevelopment that completed in May 2014 revealing a stunning newly created high street entrance and delivering 21,250sq ft of new retail space for H&M.

Shopping Eating and Drinking

The enclosed and fully air conditioned shopping centre is comprised of four main shopping areas. Located on the ground floor there are three shopping malls connected by two high domed glass atria accessed from two high street entrances.

H&M opened in May 2014 to join quality retailers such as Waitrose, Phase Eight, Gap, Jo Jo Maman Bebe, L’Occitane and Waterstones. In fact there is something for everyone from men, women and children’s fashion to home interiors, accessories and gifts.

On the upper mall level more shops can be found including Argos, award winning childrens footwear specialist One Small Step One Giant Leap, recently extended Aflair for home and the first floors of H&M and Flowersmith.  Also to be found at first floor are the award winning “Loo of the year” customer toilet facilities and  state of the art parent and child suite with dedicated changing and feeding areas for babies as well as parent and child toilet cubicles.

If you’re looking for a break during your shopping then pop into Costa or Neuhaus for a great coffee with a sweet threat, for a bit to eat try Waterstone’s new Dillons café or for a taste of the Nordic culture visit Blabar on Lacy road.

Lacy Road

Located on Lacy Road is a wonderful selection of small independent retailers trading from Victorian properties that predate the building of the shopping centre. The Lacy road shops add a unique retail dimension to shopping at the Putney Exchange.

Car Parking

The entrance to the shopping centres’ car park can be found on Lacy road. Open during shopping centre trading hours and recently extended as part of the development work to provide 290 spaces; safe and secure parking is available over two levels. We also have six “free to charge” electric charging points on the roof level of the car park. A car washing and valeting service is available and customers spending £20 in Waitrose can claim their first hour parking free (some restrictions apply)

The Putney Exchange is open seven days a week with most stores offering late night shopping every Thursday. It is conveniently located on Putney High Street with excellent transport links with easy access to buses, trains, underground and river boat services.
